Well we're in Quebec (Quebec City). We went to Sept Chutes Gorge just outside Ste. Anne. It was cool and huge. It's a series of 7 (sept) waterfalls (chutes) down a gorge. The info center is at #5. We walked/climbed to the top of the gorge. And back down.
They warned us that the climb to and from the bottom was
gonna be huge, and they weren't kidding. This is a pic of half of the stairs down! We finally made it to the bottom. Then you follow a trail back up to the info center. the top 5 chutes drop 200 ft., and the last two chutes drop the other 400 ft. But we made it, and it was worth the view. As per usual in nature pics, the don't do it justice.

Then because we're suckers for punishment we went to Canyone Ste. Anne. Another friggin' gorge to climb through. It was really cool too though. 3 suspended bridges and several platforms hanging out over the canyon. We really enjoyed it, but to get to the very bottom of the canyon they warn you that it's 187 steps to the bottom (and another 187 steps back up. And then you climb back to the top of the canyon from where we were. We wimped out as we were bushed from the Sept Chutes climb. Tomorrow we're going into Old Quebec City. Really looking forward to that!
